Description
The Memory Stick Wireless LAN card (P/N HNT-MSW1) is specifically designed for handheld devices equipped with a Memory Stick expansion slot running Palm OS 5 or later. The card is compliant with the Memory Stick I/O Standard and IEEE802.11b. The LAN card has a specified transmission range of approximately 37m (120 ft) indoors at a transmission speed of 11Mbps. It also has security functions compatible with 64, 128-bit WEP and ESS-ID. This wireless LAN card provides simple and versatile wireless communication almost everywhere and allows wireless access to the Internet, private Intranets and e-mail at facilities with wireless LAN capabilities, including homes, offices, hotels, airports, and cafes.
